The western area of New South Wales offers international students a lower cost of living in a safe, clean and friendly environment without compromising on services or facilities.
The large centres of Bathurst, Dubbo and Orange have all the benefits of city living and are serviced by daily flights to Sydney. Students have easy access by car to several national parks, to the 300-hectare Western Plains Zoo at Dubbo, the internationally renowned Mt Panorama racing circuit at Bathurst, or wineries at Cowra, Mudgee and Orange, or Jenolan Caves near Lithgow.

Western Institute received the Australian Large Training Provider of the Year Award in 2007.
The Australian Training Awards are the peak, national award for vocational education and training and recognise innovation and excellence. The Institute competed with leading training providers from every state and territory in Australia.
