Northern Sydney Institute Colleges are located at Crows Nest, Hornsby, Meadowbank, St Leonards, Brookvale and Ryde and are close to the Sydney central business district, rail and bus networks.

- TAFE English Language Centre (TELC) at Crows Nest College offers a range of nationally accredited English language courses. Beginner to advanced-level courses are specifically designed to help students develop oral and written skills for further study or employment, or provide direct entry to other TAFE courses.
- Health and Community Services at Meadowbank College offers Massage Therapy, Sport and Fitness, Aged Care and Community Welfare in new buildings with modern facilities and equipment.
- Global Career Academy at Crows Nest College offers an exciting new program. Japanese students study English and vocational programs, and Japanese-speaking staff advise students about careers, study choices and lifestyle experiences in Sydney.
Specialist Facilities
- The Centre of Excellence in Hospitality at Ryde College trains students in commercially-equipped kitchens, bars, restaurants, and a 24-bedroom, international standard, four-star hotel called The Blaxland Conference and Accommodation Complex which has convention facilities.
- The Sydney Wine Academy at Ryde College offers training in international and Australian wines.
- The Sydney Coffee Academy is a modern, custom-designed coffee and cafe training centre teaching barista techniques so students can gain part-time work in restaurants.
- Restaurants: Asian Dining Room, Solomon’s Terrace, The Ambassador, The Gum Tree, The Pittwater - these College restaurants are open to the public and hospitality students put into practice their hands-on skills in a “real” environment with paying customers.
- The Sydney Academy of Hair, Beauty and Make-up at Meadowbank, North Sydney and Northern Beaches Colleges has clinics with the latest techniques and equipment.

Awards
Australian Training Awards
Marion Fitzpatrick, Head Teacher Commercial Cookery, was awarded 2007 National Trade Teacher of the Year for her commitment to young chefs and improving the quality of teaching.
She also represented the Tourism and Hospitality Education – International Centre of Excellence at the 2007 Culinary Challenge held in Chennai, India. The Culinary Challenge is an all-India competition organised by the National Council for Hotel Management.
Restaurant and Catering NSW Award
The Pittwater Restaurant at Northern Beaches College was awarded Best Restaurant in a Training Institute by the Restaurant and Catering Association of NSW.
