2008 National WorldSkills
New England Institute students won Gold medals in Tourism, Auto Electrical and Landscape Construction. One award winner was an international student from the United Kingdom currently studying at New England Institute.

- Commercial kitchens at Tamworth College
- Access to training facilities at the Australian Livestock and Equine Centre in Tamworth
