Living in Sydney and New South Wales

Group having a picnic

Australia is an affluent, modern country with a population of over 20 million people who enjoy a high standard of living.

Australia is made up of six states and two territories. New South Wales is the most populated state in Australia, and Sydney is the capital city of NSW.

In NSW there are many cities and towns that offer an attractive alternative to Sydney as a study destination, with a cheaper cost of living and plenty of part-time work.

Most cities and towns are near the coast, but there are also inland cities where you can work and study.

The climate in NSW is cool in winter and warm and hot in summer and Australians take pride in a clean environment.
