National Institute of Accountants (NIA) – To be accepted as an associate member the minimum requirement is the Advanced Diploma of Accounting.  Further studies are required at university level to be granted full membership status. Visit the NIA website for more information.

Certified Practicing Accountants of Australia (CPA Australia) – To be accepted as an associate member, applicants must have completed an accredited degree program from a university. CPA Australia accredits specific degree programs at specific universities. To progress to full membership status, other requirements must be met, including work experience, references, and additional studies in their internal program.
