Description

This course is for people who wish to develop the knowledge and skills to work in marketing management, with managerial responsibility to ensure marketing functions are conducted effectively. You will develop a range of specialist marketing skills as well as other business and management skills that will allow you to function effectively as a manager in a marketing industry setting.

Working in marketing and management roles such as Marketing Manager, Direct Marketing Manager, Marketing Manager specialising in international marketing, Public Relations Manager among others

Articulation

When you finish this course you can apply to do the Advanced Diploma of Marketing (17857) or other specialist Advanced Diploma qualifications in the Business Services Training Package such as advertising or management.

You may also be able to articulate to degree courses in marketing or a related area.

Entry Requirements

  • Year 12 or equivalent
  • Prerequisite: Certificate 4 in Marketing (17855) or relevant qualification
  • Academic IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL (iBT) 51 or Certificate 3 in English for Further Study at TAFE NSW or equivalent
  • Academic IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL (iBT) 68 or Certificate 3 in English for Further Study at TAFE NSW or equivalent for Diploma-to-Degree courses (DIAC 573 visa requirement)

Course Structure

To receive the Diploma of Marketing students must complete 5 core units and 3 elective units (Please note: no more than 3 units may be completed from Subgroup 1)
