Description

This course is for people who wish to develop the knowledge and skills to work in marketing across a range of industry and organisational settings. You will develop a range of specialist marketing skills as well as other generic business skills that will allow you to function effectively in a marketing industry setting.

Working in marketing in roles such as Marketing Coordinator, Market Research Assistant, Direct Marketing Officer, among others

Articulation

When you finish this course you can apply to do the Diploma of Marketing (17856) or other specialist Diploma qualifications in the Business Services Training Package such as advertising or management.

Entry Requirements

  • Prerequisite: Certificate 3 in Business (17803) or relevant qualification or the equivalent qualification of the NSW Year 12
  • Academic IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL (iBT) 51 or Certificate 3 in English for Further Study at TAFE NSW or equivalent

To receive the Certificate 4 in Marketing students must complete 4 core units and 6 elective units. (Please note: no more than 6 units may be completed from Subgroup 1)
