Description

This course is for people who intend to go into small business as an owner and/or manager as well as those who are already a small business owner and/or manager.

This course provides the skills and knowledge required to manage the establishment, planning, promotion, finances, operations and workforce of a small business.

Articulation

When you finish this course you may be eligible to do Diploma of Business (17805) or other specialist Diploma qualifications in the Business Services Training Package such as marketing, management or human resources.

In addition, depending on units/electives completed in this course, you may be eligible for advanced standing in other courses and other Training Package qualifications.

Entry Requirements

  • Year 10 or equivalent or related experience
  • Academic IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL (iBT) 51 or Certificate 3 in English for Further Study at TAFE NSW or equivalent

Course Structure

To receive the Certificate 4 in Small Business Management students must complete 4 core units and 6 elective units (Please note: at least 5 electives must be completed from Subgroup 1)
