Description

This course is for people who want to develop the knowledge and skills to effectively operate in a variety of business settings, and who are seeking to further develop their skills across a wide range of business functions. You can select electives from the areas of management, human resource management, marketing, advertising and business administration, among others.

Articulation

When you finish this course you may be eligible to do Advanced Diploma of Business (17806) or other specialist Advanced Diploma qualifications in the Business Services Training Package (BSB07) such as management, marketing or human resources.

You may also be able to articulate to degree courses in Business or equivalent.

Entry Requirements

  • Year 12 or equivalent
  • Prerequisite: Certificate 4 in Business (17804) or related experience
  • Students applying to study the Business Diploma package (1 year) must complete Certificate 4 in Business (17804) and Diploma of Business (17805). Students who do not have the equivalence of the NSW Year 12 will need to apply for the Certificate 3 in Business (17803) (1.5 years in total)
  • Academic IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL (iBT) 51 or Certificate 3 in English for Further Study at TAFE NSW or equivalent
  • Academic IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL (iBT) 68 or Certificate 3 in English for Further Study at TAFE NSW or equivalent for Diploma-to-Degree courses (DIAC 573 visa requirement)
