TAFE NSW students claim 9 medals at WorldSkills Calgary 2009
Competition at the WorldSkills International event in Calgary has closed with an outstanding result for TAFE NSW students who claimed 9 medals, including a gold medal by Heh-Nian (James) Sun from TAFE NSW – Northern Sydney Institute in the Restaurant Service category.
Seven TAFE NSW students also received Medallions of Excellence for their achievements.
The Australian ‘Skillaroos’ team retained their world ranking of 5th by claiming a total of 12 medals.
Congratulations to all members of the Australian WorldSkills team on your outstanding achievements.
