Skillaroos world challenge!
The 40th WorldSkills International competition will be held in Calgary, Canada, 1-7 September 2009. Australia will be represented by the “Skillaroos”– a team of 26 young adults of whom 18 are studying with TAFE NSW Institutes.
The event promotes excellence and international competency in industry trades and skills. Australia currently ranks 5th place out of 50 countries and gold medal chances in 2009 are looking very good.
