New Overseas Student Health Cover rates 2010
Medibank Private, the Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) provider for the NSW Department of Education and Training, has announced a 9.83% increase in OSHC fees for 2010.
2010 Medibank Private OSHC Fees
Single students: A$388.80 for 12 months
Students with families: A$777.60 for 12 months
The increase applies for any OSHC fees submitted to Medibank Private after 14 August 2009 for new membership which will start from 1 January 2010.
OSHC cover is a compulsory condition for a student visa holder.
Students who join or renew with Medibank Private on or after 14 August 2009 for periods of 13 months or more (up to 5 years) receive a 6% discount off their premiums.
