New Overseas Student Health Cover rates 2009
Medibank Private, the Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) provider for the NSW Department of Education and Training, has announced a 1.7% increase in OSHC fees for 2009.
2009 Medibank Private OSHC Fees
Single students: A$354 for 12 months
Students with families: A$708 for 12 months
The increase applies for any OSHC fees submitted to Medibank Private after 18 August 2008 for new membership which will start from 1 January 2009.
OSHC cover is a compulsory condition for a student visa holder.
Students who join or renew with Medibank Private for a period of 2 to 5 years receive a 5% discount off their premiums.
