Combined Intensive English and General Study Tours - Students

A Combined Intensive English and General Study Tour provides an opportunity for students to:

• undertake a structured two week English language program that:
• improves their English skills
• provides intensive English language instruction specialist staff
• utilises the facilities of a specialist Intensive Language Centre
• incorporates the student’s experience with the local community and broader Australian culture

and

• learn with Australian students in regular classes
• participate in subjects that may include Sport, Health, Science, Music, Drama, Art, Social Sciences, Cooking, Woodwork and Environmental Studies
• join in classes of English and other languages e.g. Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Indonesian, French, German or Italian.

Inclusions

• welcome ceremony and school tour
• farewell party
• presentation of a participation certificate for each student
• one adult for every 10 students is free of charge

Group size

• minimum group size is 15 students

Age

• students must be at least 10 years of age

Duration

• three to four weeks

Dates

• Intensive English Study Tour available only in New South Wales school vacations
• General Study Tour only available in New South Wales school term time
