Study Tours
Each year, a large number of international students and adults visit NSW government schools and administrative offices in study tour groups.
All Study Tours can be tailored to meet the needs and interests of either student or adult groups.

We welcome students and educators from across the world to New South Wales government schools. The NSW Department of Education and Communities is the largest provider of school education in Australia with over 150 years experience. Our schools offer a safe, secure and dynamic learning environment with a wide range of academic and creative subjects and innovative use of technology.
The Study Tour program provides a memorable and rewarding experience in our world class education system. Students, teachers, and education officials have a unique opportunity to visit schools, observe teaching methodologies and use of digital technologies, experience classroom integration, improve English language skills as well as enjoy excursions and special events with host schools and local communities.
Our experienced professionals can arrange study tours to meet the specific needs and interests of visiting groups. Students and teachers can also take the opportunity to do some sightseeing and visit some of New South Wales’ wonderful landmarks - the Sydney Opera House and Harbour, the Blue Mountains and spectacular regional areas.

Study Tours for Student Groups
Groups of international school-aged students can:
- visit NSW government schools in Sydney and many NSW townships
- plan a tour for half day to ten weeks
- improve their English
- make new friends
- experience Australian lifestyle
- enjoy spectacular coastal beaches, rainforests, national parks or the outback

Groups of adults can:

- plan a tour for half day to four weeks

- enjoy spectacular coastal beaches, rainforests, national parks or the outback
