Minimum entry requirements
Academic
Germany
- Currently studying at a Gymnasium (Students from a Realschule or Hauptschule might be accepted)
- At least satisfactory marks in the main academic subjects: English, Mathematics, Science, History and Geography
- Students should intend to return to school in Germany after completing the Study Abroad program
Czech Republic/Denmark/France/Italy/Switzerland/Poland/Slovakia
- Pass mark of 60% or above in the main academic subjects: English, Mathematics, Science, History and Geography
Austria/Brazil/Mexico
- Pass mark (6-10) in the main academic subjects: English, Maths, Science, History and Geography
English language
Germany/Italy
Evidence that your English is sufficient to complete the Study Abroad course work in English:
- Letter from your school on school letterhead
OR
France/Denmark/Switzerland/Austria
- Letter from your school on school letterhead, stating that your English is sufficient to complete the Study Abroad course work in English.
Brazil/Mexico
- SLEP test with a scale score of 45 or above
CzechRepublic/Poland/Slovakia
- Minimum IELTS (International English language Testing System) score of 5.0 for entry into Year 10 or 5.5 for entry into Year 11
OR - Evidence that you have completed an English language course and achieved grades equivalent to these IELTS scores
