School Selection
International students can choose from over 200 schools in Sydney and regional locations. Students can select the school that offers the range of academic subjects and special facilities to suit their learning needs.
Co-educational and single-sex schools
NSW government primary schools are all co-educational (mixed sex) schools.
In high school, international students can choose to attend either a boys only, girls only or co-educational high school.
Specialist high schools
Specialist high schools are also available that cater for talented students in a variety of areas including languages, technology, performing or creative arts, or sport.
Note: International student visa holders are not eligible to enrol in the NSW Conservatorium High School, NSW Selective High Schools or Primary School Opportunity (OC) classes.
