DEC International has an extensive track record in China, our experience includes major events training, program delivery and educational partnerships.
World Expo: 2010 Shanghai
DEC International developed a training master plan for the World Expo 2010 Shanghai. We provided:
- Training needs analyses
- Training master plan and action plans
- On-going support and advice on the implementation of the plans through to October 2010
Olympic and Paralympic Games: Beijing 2008
TAFE NSW, through DEC International, delivered:
- Training needs analyses, leadership training, venue training, ‘train the trainer’ program and event orientation for the Hong Kong Equestrian Events
- Intensive English language training and job specific training for VIP and Protocol volunteers based in Beijing
DEC International has trained over 1,500 volunteers in Hong Kong since October 2007. Volunteers found the trainers professional and the programs varied and interesting creating a professional volunteer workforce that helped make the Beijing Olympics a success.
Training with vocational training institutions
TAFE NSW has educational joint delivery arrangements with local Chinese training institutions in a number of cities including Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
